Conundrum.
What happens when you have 4.6gb in Season 1, and 6.8gb in Season 2 (why don't they match!), but each disc can only hold 4.3gb or so of data? Do you:
a. Burn 4.3gb of the first season and the remaining eppy in a separate CD-R, and Season 2 in two subsequent discs that aren't fully maximised a la
4.3gb + 350mb (CD-R) + 4.3gb + 2.5bg = 4 neat discs,
b. Burn 4.3gb of S1 in one disc, and the finale together with however many episodes of S2 you can fit into the next disc, and finally the remainder of S2 into a third like so:
4.3gb + 4.3gb + 2.8gb = 3 slightly messy discs with space to spare,
OR,
c. Chuck 4.3gb of S1 into one disc, and the finale into a CD-R with another miscellaneous series episode that too doesn't fit into one disc, and burn S2 together with other stuff that make up the remaining space --
4.3gb + 700mb + 4.3gb + 4.3gb = 4 full, but seriously messed-up discs?
In any case, the common denominator of the three appears to be 4.3gb of S1 into one disc, so at least while I'm mulling over what to do with the rest of it I can finally free up some disk space on my hard drive... If only every single series season fit perfectly into one disc (or two, or three) so people like me (you know who you are ;p) can get a life and not have to worry about such things... ><
